Hassan ben Sahid was a corsair of Arabic origin that operated in the Mediterranean in the early 18th century. Allegedly, he successfully raided the northern coast of Africa and eastern Spain; then he began to be chased by the Spanish Armada and decided to retire to Andalusia. His further fate is unknown.

- Sahid is mentioned only in The Pirate Wars, where he serves only as background information for Enrique O'Rackham - it is hinted that O'Rackham served aboard the Scimitard, Sahid's ship, until the captain's retirement.
- Hassan ben Sahid's character is based on the character by the same name in the game ANNO 1404.
